Teachers has enabled the following security measures in order to ensure that your member information is safeguarded:

Enhanced Security (Multi-Factor Authentication) Sign-On – Your Homebanking login is a multiple step process (detailed below). Instead of one screen where you enter your Member Number and Password, you enter your Member Number, Password and Random Security Code:

  • The first time you login, you'll be asked to enter in three (3) challenge questions and corresponding answers, along with some other identifying personal information such as your Member Number, last 4 of SSN, and DOB.
  • During subsequent logins, you may be asked to answer a challenge question and verify the Random Security Code.

Limited Sign-On Attempts – Your Homebanking account will be disabled for 30 minutes following a pre-determined number of unsuccessful login attempts.

Automatic Timeout – Following a period of 10 minutes with no activity, your Homebanking session will automatically terminate.

eNotices – By way of our FREE eNotices system, you can be automatically emailed for activity on your account such as:

  • Online Transactions
  • Automatic Debits
  • Insufficient Funds
  • Bill Pay Bills Paid

Confidentiality – Your password’s and pin numbers are personal and private information. Our Teachers' employees will NEVER ask you for passwords or pin numbers.

SSL Encryption – Our Homebanking website is protected via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which uses SHA-1 with RSA encryption. Your information is safe because it is transmitted using this secure encrypted method.

Most popular web browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari, are capable of conducting a secure session with an SSL enabled web server at a minimum of a 128-bit encryption level.* Check your browser's encryption level here.

Firewall – Teachers' computers are protected by a Firewall. A firewall is a device configured to permit, deny, encrypt, or decrypt network information passing from the Internet to Teachers' internal computers.

For the best security, please check the links below to upgrade your browser for maximum internet fraud protection.

*Make sure your security settings can support these security measures. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
