A: Log in to Teachers Online or Mobile Banking to start using Card Controls. In Online Banking, you will find “Card Controls” in the top navigation. In the Mobile Banking app, tap “More” and select “Card Controls.” You will see a welcome video followed by the Card Controls landing page, where your active Teachers cards will be displayed, and you will be prompted to set alert preferences.
Please be advised that alerts and preferences set in CardValet will not transfer and will need to be recreated in Card Controls.

- Check that your online banking credentials are linked to the card you want to view.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the Teachers Mobile Banking app.
- Confirm the card is active and issued by Teachers FCU.

A: Yes, you can instantly turn cards on or off for security or personal control. Note: Automatic payments, such as subscriptions to streaming services or merchants, will continue to be processed.
A: Yes. For debit cards, the card will be instantly turned off (automatic payments will continue to be processed), and you will be prompted to contact Teachers directly. For credit cards, the card will be instantly decommissioned, and a replacement card will be issued automatically.
A: The Travel Plan feature allows you to set exemptions on both Teachers debit and credit cards for specific domestic or international destinations to avoid transaction denials while traveling. You can add up to 15 destinations for a time period of up to 15 days.
A: Yes, you can set or change a PIN as well as activate cards within Card Controls. PINs must be numeric and avoid sequences or repetitions.
