How to Apply for a Visa Platinum Credit Card
Prepare
Have your driver's license or government-issued ID and your Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) ready. If opening a joint account, ensure you have your co-applicant’s information on hand.i
Apply
Complete the application with your contact information, employment status, and income.
Validate
Teachers will review your credit score and credit history to determine your APR* and credit approval. Submit any final documentation and securely sign your card agreement electronically.
Activate
Once approved, you will receive your new credit card in the mail within 7–10 business days. Follow the instructions to activate your card online or by phone. Enroll in Online Banking to personalize your account preferences.
