2026 Scholarship Opportunities
Founded by a group of educators, Teachers Federal Credit Union continues to reinforce its commitment to education, ensuring that more students have access to resources that help them reach their academic goals. For more than 30 years, Teachers has awarded annual scholarships to high school students embarking on their journey of continuous learning. In support of our commitment to making the pursuit of higher education more attainable, we are proud to announce the availability of fifteen $2,500 scholarships.
2026 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship
The Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship is awarded annually to ten graduating high school seniors who are attending an accredited college, university, or trade school as full-time students in the U.S.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate from high school in the Spring of 2026
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Attending an accredited college, university, or trade school in the Fall of 2026, in the U.S.
- Be a Teachers Federal Credit Union member in good standing with both savings and a checking account as the primary member. Become A Member

2026 Robert G. Allen Scholarship
The Robert G. Allen Scholarship is awarded annually to five students who are attending an accredited college, university, or trade school as full-time students in Nassau or Suffolk County, New York.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate from high school in the Spring of 2026
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Attending an accredited college, university, or trade school in the Fall of 2026, in Nassau or Suffolk County, New York
- Be a Teachers Federal Credit Union member in good standing with both savings and a checking account as the primary member. Become A Member

2026 NYCUA Scholarship
The New York Credit Union Association (NYCUA), in partnership with participating credit unions, is proud to support college-bound students through its annual scholarship program. This opportunity provides financial assistance that can be applied toward tuition, room and board, books, and other educational expenses.
The applicant must be a member in good standing of a participating New York credit union who meets all the following criteria:
- The member is a college-bound high school senior at the time of application
- The member is attending college for the first time in the Fall of 2026
- The member will be enrolled in either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution
- The member agrees to use any scholarship funds awarded by January 31, 2027, at an accredited educational institution only
