Winners of the 2023 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship and the 2023 Robert G. Allen Scholarship will be notified by April 10, 2023. To learn more about our scholarships, please review the eligibility guidelines below.
2023 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Teachers is proud to offer the Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship to support student members embarking on their journey of continuous learning and success. Founded by a group of educators, Teachers continues to reinforce its commitment to education and ensure that more students have the resources to reach their academic goals. This scholarship is awarded annually to ten graduating high school seniors.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
• Graduating from high school in Spring 2023
• GPA of at least 3.5
• Attending an accredited college in Fall 2023
• A Teachers FCU member in good standing with a savings and checking account
2023 Robert G. Allen Scholarship
The Robert G. Allen Scholarship honors the former CEO of Teachers and is dedicated to his years of service to the organization. This scholarship is awarded annually to five students who are attending an accredited college or university as a full-time student within Nassau and Suffolk County on Long Island.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
• Graduating from high school in Spring 2023
• GPA of at least 3.5
• Attending an accredited college, located in Nassau or Suffolk County in Fall 2023
• A Teachers FCU member in good standing with a savings and checking account
Teachers Federal Credit Union (“Teachers”) Employees, Board Members, and immediate family members of employees or volunteers are not eligible to receive the 2023 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship or the 2023 Robert G. Allen Scholarship. Immediate family members include but are not limited to: spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether by current marriage, past marriage, adoption, or as in-laws.
