Former Melrose System Upgrade and Migration
The accounts of former members of Melrose Credit Union have migrated to TFCU's system as of March 25, 2019. This upgrade provides you, our newest members, with access to our state-of-the-art online banking, mobile banking and Bill Payer systems as well as other products and services, including:
- Enhanced processing for teller transactions will allow us to serve you even faster
- Improved transaction processing will allow all transactions to be posted on weekends/holidays
- Enhanced online banking and mobile banking options so that your account information is at your fingertips 24/7
- More functionality with our online membership, account opening, and loan application processes, including the ability to track your loan application
Your new TFCU member number is a seven-digit number that begins with a "7" and includes your former Melrose member number. If your current member number contains less than six digits, zeros have been added after the "7" to create a seven-digit number. For example:

Melrose's Bill Payer system was discontinued and did NOT carry over to TFCU's Bill Payer system.
If you used Melrose's online banking system, you will need to re-register and re-set up your payments through TFCU's online banking system using your new TFCU account number. Please arrange as soon as possible to pay your bills directly so you do not incur any late fees or missed payments.
Be sure to take screen shots of your current payees so you have them ready to input into our system.
To get started, log onto TFCU's Online Banking with your NEW member number, locate Bill Payer, and follow the on-screen prompts to get started. For more information, click here.
Checking Account Numbers
Your checking account number is the MICR number found at the bottom of your checks.
Please note that if you have multiple accounts, you will retain the oldest member number as your one and only number, with all of your other accounts under that one account number.

If you had an active debit/ATM card with your Melrose account prior to March 25, you should have received a new, TFCU-issued card. You can activate and use this card now. If you did not receive a new debit/ATM card from TCU, please call 631-698-7000 or stop by any of our 31 branches for assistance.
If you had automatic payments or deposits into your Melrose account, they were not affected by the conversion – they automatically carried over into your new TFCU account.
Loan Payments/Loan Numbers
If your loan payments are automatically transferred, they have not been affected by the conversion – they automatically carried over into your new TFCU account.
If, however, you used Melrose's Bill Payer to pay your loans from another financial institution, they will NOT carry over to TFCU's Bill Payer system (see Bill Payer section). You will need to re-register and re-set up your payments through TFCU's online banking system using your new TFCU loan number.
Please arrange as soon as possible to pay your bills directly so you do not incur any late fees or missed payments.

Melrose's EZMoneyOnline service was discontinued as of March 22, 2019
You will need to register on TFCU's online banking system using your new member number to access your account information. To get started, go to www.teachersfcu.org, click on Online Banking/New Online Banking User Registration and follow the prompts.
