E-Notices/E-Statements FAQ's

(Q):  How do I sign up for eStatements and eNotices?

(A):   Once signed on to Online Banking, click on either the eNotice or eStatement Setup button on the Online Banking main menu. Enter your Online Banking Password once more. Then click through the disclosures for eNotice alerts. You will be provided an activation code which will be sent to you via e-mail. Simply enter this code and set the alerts you wish to receive. Choose Monthly Statements to receive eStatement alerts.

(Q):  What is the difference between eNotices and eStatements?  Can I still get my eStatements if I don't sign up for eNotices?

(A):  eStatements are the electronic statements you can view within Online Banking by clicking the eStatements button on the Online Banking main menu. eNotices is the system by which you can set up and receive e-mail alerts, including eStatement alerts.

Your electronic statements will always be available within Online Banking by clicking the eStatements button. You do NOT have to sign up for eNotices to view your eStatements unless you would like to receive an e-mail alert each month when your monthly eStatement is complete.

(Q):  How much do eStatements cost?

(A):  eStatements are free to all TFCU members.

(Q):  Where can I get a copy of the eNotices/eStatement alerts disclosure?

(A):  eNotices Disclosure, or find this item in the main dropdown menu of any TFCU webpage under the Forms button >> Online Banking Applications & Forms >> E-Notices Disclosure.

(Q):  Will the statement cycle for eStatement alerts be the same as it is for paper statements?

(A):  Yes, your statement cycle will continue to run from the first of the month through the end of the month and quarterly. Members choosing eStatements eliminate the regular waiting period associated with postal delivery, in addition to saving on paper costs and paper waste.

(Q):  If I sign up for eStatement alerts, will I continue to receive a statement copy via U.S. Mail?

(A):  No. Your choice of statement delivery (paper or eStatement) that is recorded on our system on the statement cycle date is the only method used to deliver that month's statement.

(Q):  Can I have my eStatement e-mail notification sent to more than one e-mail address?

(A):  Yes, you can set up a secondary notification e-mail address, which can be added to the Monthly eStatement alert (or any other alert) e-mail list. To add an Alternate e-mail Address, click on Alert Addresses within the eNotice system, and click on Add New. Add your alternate e-mail address and name in the fields as prompted and click OK. To add the Alternate e-mail Address to an alert, click on the e-mail link under the Delivery column in the Alert List in eNotice. Then, check off e-mail Address 2, and choose your alternate e-mail from the dropdown list by name. Then, click OK.

Q):  Will my eStatement be available online if for some reason I did not receive my e-mail notification?

(A):  There are a number of possibilites. Most e-mail servers are equipped with Spam blockers or Spam or Bulk folders. Your alert may have been sent to one of these folders if the alerts@teachersfcu.org  is not recognized by your e-mail account. It may be possible that the address in TFCU's eNotice system was entered incorrectly. If your e-mail notification was returned to us as undeliverable, your current statement will still be available online.

(Q):  Will I receive the inserts that were included with my mailed statement?

(A):  Within the e-mail you receive will be links to any inserts that were included in your mailed statement.

(Q):  How do I print my eStatement?

(A):  You can print by going to File >> Print, or by simply clicking the Print button in the browser. You can also right-click on the statement itself and choose Print.

(Q):  How many months of statements are available via eStatements?

(A):  Archived statements can be viewed for up to five months. To receive copies of older statements, please contact: webmail@teachersfcu.org

(Q):  What if I want to cancel eStatements?

(A):  You can switch back to the paper version of your statement at any time by clicking the Cancel eNotice link within the eNotices section of Online Banking.
